| The Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost includes three Vice Provosts and the Executive Director of the UCR Palm Desert campus. The initiatives and activities of these organizations are the execution arm of the Chancellor and support the work of the deans and vice chancellors in their own programs to accomplish the goals of the university, as outlined by the Chancellor.

Vice Provost for Conflict Resolution
The goals of the Office of Conflict Resolution are: to act as a Central Coordinating Body for the various conflicts resolution programs (Labor Relations, Student Judicial Affairs, Affirmative Action, Title IV, Ombudsperson and the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs). In addition, the office will provide opportunities to solve conflict in a more informal way through mediation and through education and training programs for staff, students faculty and administrators.

Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education
The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Academic Programs provides campus-wide administrative leadership for enhancing the excellence of the University in the area of undergraduate education. This mission includes the development of programs to improve and foster campus resources and environments for teaching and learning. Undergraduate Education activities are ongoing in a number of areas that affect student success at UCR.
